觉代 Lor Mee Heritage offers a nostalgic taste of shredded fish, "Lorba" (pork belly), garlic, red cut chili, chili sauce, parsley, and egg. This dish was originally sold at ABC Brickwork Estate market in the 1960s to early 1970s. The owner of the stall has managed to revive the recipe, focusing especially on the flavorful soup. Wei Xiang Prawn Mee Heritage has a rich history, starting from its humble beginnings on a push cart at Brickwork Estate and the black-white "7-storey" Redhill Close in the 1950s to 1960s. It later moved to Hock Lee Bus Depot and has been located at Ghim Moh since 1978, serving their signature prawn noodles for $3.00 a bowl. They typically close around 11 am as they usually sell out by then.
